I’m still working on THE FEW comic book series. Here is the rough and the panel art for the page I just completed. Issues 4, 5 & 6 are finished, but currently unavailable for purchase online.
When I was a freshman in college, my first art class assignment was to dream up and create a “dimensional” story. These are a few of the cardboard stand-ups from that project. I entitled it Pedro Perez And The Cosmic Taco Jockeys. As I begin work on issue seven of THE FEW sci-fi comic, it seems I have traveled full circle and am back at the beginning point doing the same sort of things that interested me in my younger days. Funny how life works.
That’s right… when I draw a spaceship it usually has a rear view mirror in the window with fuzzy dice hanging on it.
I’m presently doing the final edits on THE FEW issues 4, 5 and 6. Todd has gotten these characters into quite a mess. I hope they can find their way out of it!
The comic books I’m working on have really been eating up a lot of my work time. I’m currently working on issue six. I noticed that the pencil drawings for them are really starting to pile up, so I made a quick video to show how much artwork has gone into the first five issues.
The image on the left is a panel rough I sent to Todd for his approval in order to move forward on THE FEW Comic Book Series. The image on the right is the finished art.
I’m glad Todd trusts me ’cause my roughs look like a four year old did them.
