I’ve made a living for a lot of years drawing ridiculously goofy pictures, but every once in a while a project comes along where I’m asked to ratchet up the realism just a bit.

  Hi Pat. The buildings in the background are amazing because I didn’t paint them, ha! They are a photo I pulled off the internet and I just painted that guy on top of them. Tell your family I said hi!

    Oh, I’m laughing. I love the guy/great image. I was overwhelmed when I saw all of those buildings imagining the toil it took to create – I’ve started watercolors and sketching in my old age, and now realize the immense depth of talent it takes to create. Darrell always made it look so easy 🙂

I really enjoy your style. I love looking at your goofy pictures that make me laugh and want to draw some of my own in my “goofy” way. I’ve tried a couple that turned out pretty interesting lol. Thanks again for your art. It really inspires me
