Work In Progress
Here’s a “work in progress” of a tiny bit of a much larger illustration I’m working on.
I start with a pencil illustration, add flat color to it and then render the image.
I like to leave as much pencil work in the finished illustration as possible so that the “fingerprints of the artist” are still visible. š

When you say pencil, do you mean digital pencil? I love it when people leave their marks visible – and I love that description of it as the fingerprints of the artist!
I still use an old fashioned pencil unless I’m out of the studio and starting something from scratch on a digital device.
