eclectic artwork & other random things
I had an online store for about a year, but I closed it. Then people started asking me where my online store went, so I added this page to my website. This isn’t exactly a store… it’s just a place where you can purchase a digital copy of one of my pictures and then you can take it down to Walmart and print up a poster for your church classroom… or insert it into a powerpoint presentation… or put it on a coffee mug or some other printable trinket.
So how does this work?
In the contact section located at the bottom of this page, tell me the identifying LETTER AND NUMBER of the image that you want to purchase and hit the CONTACT DENNIS button. Keep in mind this is not an automated store. I will eventually send you a REQUEST FOR PAYMENT from PAYPAL. After you make your payment, I will send you a link to download the artwork onto your computer.

All pictures can be printed in various sizes (ratios)
I still don’t know what a ratio is.
Let’s look at a 1/1 ratio. The width of the picture and the height of the picture are both the same size… 1/1… it’s a square. You could print a 1/1 ratio picture small (3 by 3 inches) medium (10 by 10 inches) or large (30 by 30 inches) or any size in between. You can choose whatever size you want your printed 1/1 ratio image to be.
How ’bout some more exciting ratio talk!!
A very common printing size is 8 inches by 10 inches (basically typing paper size). That is a 4/5 ratio. You could print a 4/5 ratio item at 4 by 5 inches… 8 by 10 inches… 16 by 20 inches… 24 by 30 inches… etc.
This ratio thing is super confusing.
Do I have to understand ratios before I buy a picture?
Nope. If you are a person who needs an exact size, ratios will tell you an exact size. For the rest of us… you can print that square looking picture into any size square you want and you can print those rectangular looking pictures rectangularly at any size you want.
The ratio talk is officially over… for now.
So… what exactly am I buying?
You are purchasing a large format, 300dpi JPEG.
What can I do with this JPEG?
You can find places all over the internet that put artwork on things, but using WALMART as an example… you can create canvas prints, posters, calendars, blankets, jewelry, coffee mugs… the list goes on and on.
What’s up with the antique borders?
My goal was to make this as simple as possible for you… get a jpeg, print a poster, done… it’s ready to go because the mat is is already on it. But if you don’t want the antique mat, simply crop it off in the formatting phase of printing.
