I love these videos you make of your projects in the works! I don’t know how you do it (are you still working on an iPad??) , but I wonder if YOU decide when to capture a frame, showing an appropriate amount of progress . . or if the program you’re using is set to a standard rate of exposure (for example, one frame per minute) ?? Either way, the videos are so entertaining – and instructional – to watch!!
Hi Dave! I do my initial sketching/drawing on an iPad in Procreate. Procreate auto records everything and when you’re done you can choose to save the whole thing or a 30 second video clip (I always go with the 30 second clip) I airdrop that onto my computer and then add transitions, music and an ending shot via iMovie. If you are in the Apple Ecosystem it’s all pretty simple stuff 🙂
Wow — thanks so much for the explanation, Dennis! I am indeed in the ‘Apple Ecosystem‘ 😄 and am actually in need of a new graphics program now that Sketchbook Pro is defunct! PROCREATE might be the answer, as I know it has served you very well over the years! ➡️ Now, if I could only draw half as inspired and appealingly as you . . . 😊
